Thiago is an Syntropic Agroforestry pioneer in Australia who for the past 10 years has been spreading the knowledge of this unique food production and land management technique.

Agroforester and bee breeder, they have an academic background in Environmental Engineering with a Master’s degree in Forest Restoration with a focus on the preservation of pollinators from ESALQ – USP. It is part of the NGO Mutirão Agroflorestal. In the SAF ABELHA project, we research and study plant species beneficial to bees and their arrangements in agroforestry systems, considering that when we plant for bees we make it possible to manage their resources in a sustainable way. Shares knowledge about bees through courses and consultancies throughout Brazil.

He currently holds the position of Chief Project Officer at Agrosintropia, where he leads projects for the development, planning and implementation of agroforestry systems.Graduated in Economics from PUC Goiás, he is studying an Executive MBA in Leadership and Business Management, he has been working with the implementation and supervision of Agroforestry Systems (SAFs) and Organic Vegetable Farming using the Agroforestry Systems technique since 2015. He is a Founding Partner of Agrosintropia where he also works as a technician field.
Agricultural Engineer, Master’s student in Organic Agriculture (UFRRJ). He has experience with agroforestry systems since 2016. He worked in the production and marketing of organic fruits and vegetables in San Diego, California, as well as in Brazil. Works with technical assistance in SAFs and organic agriculture serving small to large-scale producers. Works in the development and management of agroforestry projects, technical and economic feasibility analysis of SAF modeling, as well as supervision and writing of projects in this context.

Mauricio is a mechanical engineering graduate with 11 years of experience in the oilfield and electrical component industries. He discovered a passion for agriculture in 2017 after attending a course by Ernst Gotsch. Since then, he has immersed himself in learning and practicing organic agriculture, syntropic agroforestry, and biodynamic agriculture.
Mauricio strives to create ever-improving food forest designs, combining plants with different functions and growth habits to foster a rich and diverse environment. Each project receives his dedicated attention on selecting plants and arrangements to best suit the site’s location and the client’s preferences.
Besides his work at Syntropic Solutions, Mauricio contributes to the annual edition of the biodynamic astronomical calendar used by farmers throughout Brazil and Latin America. He also enjoys tending to his agroforestry paddock and working at nearby farms during winter pruning, sowing time, or harvesting season.
Gabriel has always been immersed in sales, customer services, and business development. His innate ability to swiftly establish rapport with individuals has enabled him to excel in a wide variety of teams and settings.
